Trimetazidine

Trimetazidine is primarily used to treat stable angina pectoris, a type of chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

Flavmox Mr 35mg Tab (Trimetazidine) works by improving the energy production in heart cells, particularly in situations of low oxygen supply. It does this by inhibiting an enzyme called 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, which is involved in fatty acid metabolism. By inhibiting this enzyme, trimetazidine promotes the use of glucose as an energy source in heart cells, even when oxygen supply is limited. This helps to reduce the workload on the heart and prevents angina symptoms.

Store trimetazidine at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or Operating Machinery

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
