Finostan 5mg Tablet (Finasteride) is a 5α-reductase inhibitor. It works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that plays a significant role in both male pattern baldness and BPH. By reducing DHT levels, finasteride helps to slow hair loss and shrink the prostate gland.

Store at room temperature away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Kidney

Generally safe for patients with normal kidney function. Patients with severe kidney disease should be monitored closely.



Liver

Generally safe for patients with normal liver function. Patients with severe liver disease should be monitored closely. Abnormal liver function tests should be reported to a physician.
