Atorvastatin

How Fibator 20 Tab Works

Atorvastatin inhibits the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in the production of cholesterol in the liver. This reduces the amount of cholesterol produced and lowers overall cholesterol levels. Fenofibrate activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-alpha), which regulates lipid metabolism. This leads to increased breakdown of triglycerides and increased production of HDL cholesterol.
