Hydrocortisone

Is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and swelling.

Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate

Is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and fungi.

Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye), blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelids), and other eye infections.

Used to relieve inflammation and itching in the eye.

May also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Sulfacetamide fights bacterial infection by inhibiting bacterial growth. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and swelling by suppressing the immune system. Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate kills bacteria and fungi on contact, providing antiseptic action.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Apply the medication as directed by your doctor, typically 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2-4 times daily.

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medication.

Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contamination.

If you are using contact lenses, remove them before applying the medication and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.

Redness or swelling of the eye.

Blurred vision.

Sensitivity to light.

Dryness of the eye.

Headache.

Dizziness.

Alcohol Consumption

No known interactions with alcohol.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause blurred vision, use caution while driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Use with caution in children, consult your doctor for appropriate dosage.



Kidney

No known adverse effects on kidney function.



Liver

No known adverse effects on liver function.
