Sodium Fusidate

Is the active ingredient in medications containing this formulation. it's an antibiotic belonging to the fusidic acid group.

Treatment of skin infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as impetigo, folliculitis, and wound infections.

Treatment of certain eye infections (depending on the formulation – consult your doctor).

Fexit Cream 10gm (Sodium Fusidate) inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the growth and reproduction of susceptible bacteria. It binds to bacterial ribosomes, specifically interfering with the translocation step in protein synthesis.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.

Dosage varies depending on the condition being treated, the formulation (cream, ointment, eye drops), and the patient's age and health. Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

Topical applications should be applied to the affected area as directed. Avoid contact with eyes unless specifically indicated for ophthalmic use.
