Femistra Tab (Anastrozole) is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by blocking the production of estrogen, a hormone that can help breast cancer cells grow. By lowering estrogen levels, anastrozole helps to slow or stop the growth of breast cancer cells.
Store Anastrozole at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C). Protect from light and moisture.
The usual dose of Anastrozole is 1 mg taken once daily by mouth.
