Promethazine

Febrinil P 250mg Syp 60ml (Paracetamol + Promethazine) work together to relieve pain, reduce fever, and control allergy symptoms. Paracetamol reduces pain and fever by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. Promethazine blocks the action of histamine, which reduces allergy symptoms and also helps prevent nausea and vomiting.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication after the expiration date.

Dosage varies depending on age, weight, and medical condition. Always follow the instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.

The medication can be taken orally with or without food.

Do not crush or break the tablets.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Promethazine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing infant.



Children

This medication should not be given to children under 6 years old.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need to take a lower dose of this medication.



Liver

People with liver problems should avoid taking this medication. This medication may damage the liver, especially if taken in high doses or for a long time.
