An antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction.
Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold and allergies, including:
Runny nose
Sneezing
Itchy, watery eyes
Nasal congestion
Postnasal drip
Chlorpheniramine Maleate blocks histamine receptors, preventing histamine from causing allergy symptoms. Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.
Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Follow the dosage instructions provided by your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual adult dosage is 1-2 tablets or capsules every 4-6 hours, as needed.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Take with a full glass of water.
Avoid taking with grapefruit juice, as it can interfere with the medication's effectiveness.

Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of drowsiness and dizziness.
This medication may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is generally not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Do not give this medication to children under 2 years of age without consulting a doctor.
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
Use with caution in patients with liver disease.
