Cefuroxime

A cephalosporin antibiotic that fights bacteria by interfering with their cell wall synthesis.

Clavulanic Acid

A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects cefuroxime from being broken down by certain bacteria, enhancing its effectiveness.

Cefuroxime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to bacterial death. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamases, enzymes produced by bacteria that inactivate cefuroxime. This combination ensures that cefuroxime effectively reaches and kills the bacteria, even those that produce beta-lactamases.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
