Type 2 diabetes mellitus (noninsulin-dependent diabetes) to help control blood sugar levels.

Eurepa 2mg Tab (Repaglinide) is a meglitinide, a type of oral medication that stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin. It works by binding to and activating a specific receptor on the beta cells in the pancreas. This activation leads to the release of insulin, which then helps lower blood sugar levels.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of repaglinide is individualized based on your blood sugar levels and response to treatment. It is typically taken 15-30 minutes before meals.

Do not crush or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Take your medication as prescribed by your doctor and do not stop taking it without first consulting with them.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can lower blood sugar levels and increase the risk of hypoglycemia. It is important to limit alcohol intake while taking repaglinide.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Repaglinide can cause hypoglycemia, which may affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. Avoid these activities if you experience symptoms of low blood sugar.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

It is not recommended to take repaglinide during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult with your doctor about the risks and benefits.



Children

Repaglinide is not approved for use in children.



Kidney

Repaglinide may need to be adjusted for patients with kidney problems.



Liver

Repaglinide may need to be adjusted for patients with liver problems.
