Esomeprazole

Esomeprazole Gastro-Resistance Tablets Ip 20mg (Esomeprazole) works by blocking the production of stomach acid. It specifically targets the proton pump, an enzyme responsible for the final step in acid secretion. By reducing acid production, esomeprazole helps to relieve symptoms and promote healing of the esophagus and stomach lining.

Store esomeprazole at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of esomeprazole will vary depending on your condition and individual needs. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you.

It is typically taken once daily, either before a meal or on an empty stomach.

Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the capsules.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Esomeprazole should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Talk to your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Esomeprazole is not recommended for children unless prescribed by a doctor.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need to take a lower dose of esomeprazole or have their kidney function monitored more closely.



Liver

People with liver problems may need to take a lower dose of esomeprazole or have their liver function monitored more closely.
