This combination medication works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more easily. Ramipril blocks the production of a substance that narrows blood vessels (angiotensin II), while S-amlodipine blocks the entry of calcium into the cells of blood vessels, preventing them from contracting.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
The dosage of Ramipril + S-Amlodipine is determined by your doctor and will vary based on your individual condition and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once daily with or without food.
