S-Amlodipine

A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Telmisartan

An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that also helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often when other medications haven't been effective enough.

May be used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke) in highrisk patients with hypertension.

S-Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels by blocking the entry of calcium into the cells of the blood vessel walls. Telmisartan blocks the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. The combined effect lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

Do not abruptly stop taking the medication; consult your doctor for instructions on tapering off.

Rare but serious side effects: angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat); liver problems; low blood pressure.

Swelling in ankles, feet, or legs

Cough

Muscle cramps

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol may worsen the side effects of this medication, especially dizziness and low blood pressure. Limit alcohol intake.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how this medication affects you, as it can cause dizziness.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is generally not recommended during pregnancy. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant while taking this medication. Use during breastfeeding is not recommended.



Children

Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.



Kidney

Kidney function should be monitored, particularly if you have pre-existing kidney disease.



Liver

Liver function should be monitored, especially if you have pre-existing liver disease.
