S-Amlodipine

This is the s-enantiomer of metoprolol, a beta-blocker. it works by slowing down the heart rate and reducing the force of heart contractions.

This combination medication works by relaxing blood vessels, reducing heart rate, and lowering blood pressure. S-Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, relaxes blood vessels by blocking the movement of calcium into smooth muscle cells. S-Metoprolol, a beta-blocker, slows down the heart rate and reduces the force of heart contractions by blocking the effects of adrenaline (epinephrine) and noradrenaline (norepinephrine) on the heart.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep this medication out of the reach of children and pets.

The dosage of this medication will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical condition.

It is typically taken once daily, with or without food.

It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor and to not stop taking it without talking to your doctor first.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not double the dose.
