Eptoin Loose 50mg Tab (Phenytoin) works by reducing the abnormal electrical activity in the brain that causes seizures. It does this by blocking sodium channels in nerve cells, preventing the rapid spread of electrical impulses.

Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if the medication is discolored or shows signs of degradation. Check the expiry date before each use.

Dosage is highly individualized and determined by a physician based on factors like age, weight, and seizure type.

It's typically administered orally (as a capsule or tablet), intravenously (in emergencies), or intramuscularly (rarely).

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Phenytoin can harm a developing fetus and may pass into breast milk. Consult your doctor about the risks and benefits before taking this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.



Children
