Etoricoxib

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) that belongs to a class of medications called coxib inhibitors.

Thiocolchicoside

A muscle relaxant that works by blocking the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Shortterm management of acute pain in adults, such as after dental surgery.

Etoricoxib selectively inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which is responsible for the production of prostaglandins, chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. Thiocolchicoside acts as a muscle relaxant by interfering with the transmission of nerve impulses to muscles, reducing muscle spasms and pain.

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of etoricoxib and thiocolchicoside will be determined by your doctor, based on your medical condition and individual needs.

It is typically taken once daily with or without food.

Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Serious side effects may occur, such as: heart attack, stroke, high blood pressure, stomach ulcers, bleeding in the stomach or intestines, and liver damage.

Common side effects include: headache, dizziness, nausea, indigestion, constipation, and diarrhea.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it may increase the risk of stomach bleeding.



While Driving or operating Machinery

This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for use in children.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems may need a lower dose of this medication.



Liver

Patients with liver problems may need a lower dose of this medication.
