Do not crush or chew the tablet. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Common side effects include dizziness, headache, fatigue, and cough. If you experience any unusual side effects, contact your doctor. This medication is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or children. Alcohol may worsen the side effects. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Ingredients of Enace D 5mg Tab

    Enalapril

An angiotensin-converting enzyme (ace) inhibitor that helps relax blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

    Hydrochlorothiazide

A thiazide diuretic that helps the body get rid of excess salt and water, also lowering blood pressure.

Direction for Use of Enace D 5mg Tab

    High blood pressure (hypertension)

Heart failure (when used in combination with other medications)

How Enace D 5mg Tab Works

Enalapril blocks the action of an enzyme called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE). This enzyme helps produce a substance that narrows blood vessels. By blocking ACE, enalapril allows blood vessels to relax and widen, which lowers blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide works by increasing urine production, which helps remove excess salt and water from the body, also reducing blood pressure.
