Emflox 200mg Tab (Norfloxacin) works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes essential for bacterial DNA replication and repair. This disruption leads to bacterial cell death.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage depends on the specific infection and patient factors. Always follow your doctor's prescription.

Take with a full glass of water.

Avoid taking antacids or dairy products within 2 hours of taking Norfloxacin, as these can reduce absorption.

Complete the full course of medication, even if symptoms improve, to prevent recurrence of infection.

Alcohol Consumption

May cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking Norfloxacin if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.



Children

Use in children is generally not recommended except under specific circumstances and guidance from a physician.



Kidney

Caution is advised in patients with kidney impairment; dosage adjustments may be necessary.



Liver

Caution is advised in patients with liver impairment; monitor for liver function abnormalities.
