Embeta Xr 75mg Tab (Metoprolol) is a beta-blocker. It works by blocking the effects of adrenaline (epinephrine) and noradrenaline (norepinephrine) on the heart and blood vessels. This leads to a decrease in heart rate, blood pressure, and the force of heart contractions. It also helps to slow down the conduction of electrical impulses in the heart.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
Dosage is determined by your doctor and depends on your condition and response to treatment.
It's usually taken orally once or twice daily.
