Ambroxol

Relief of symptoms associated with upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs) such as cough, phlegm, and congestion

Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to cough up. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks the effects of histamine, a chemical released by the body during an allergic reaction. This helps to reduce symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.

Store the medication at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on the patient's age, weight, and severity of symptoms.

The usual dose for adults and children over 12 years is 5ml every 12 hours.

For children under 12 years, the dosage may vary and should be prescribed by a doctor.

The medication can be taken with or without food.

Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 2 years of age.
