Efavir 200mg Cap (Efavirenz) is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). It works by blocking the action of reverse transcriptase, an enzyme HIV needs to reproduce. By inhibiting this enzyme, efavirenz prevents the virus from making copies of itself, thus slowing the progression of HIV infection.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication according to your pharmacist's or doctor's instructions.
Dosage varies greatly depending on individual factors and other medications. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
Typically taken once daily, orally with or without food.
Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.
