Adapalene

Is a retinoid, a type of medication derived from vitamin a.

Benzoyl Peroxide

Is an antibacterial agent.

Treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris (pimples).

Adapalene works by reducing the formation of comedones (blackheads and whiteheads), which are the primary cause of acne. It also helps to reduce inflammation and redness. Benzoyl peroxide kills the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes), which contributes to acne inflammation.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected areas once daily, usually in the evening.

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medication.

Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes.

Do not use the medication on irritated or broken skin.

Alcohol consumption may increase the risk of side effects such as dryness and irritation.

Children

This medication is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
