Clonazepam

A benzodiazepine medication that acts as a central nervous system depressant.

Escitalopram Oxalate

A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (ssri) antidepressant.

Off-label use in some cases of severe anxiety or depression where both sedative and antidepressant effects are deemed necessary by a physician. Note: This combination is not typically a first-line treatment and should only be used under strict medical supervision.

Treatment of panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

Treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD).

Clonazepam enhances the inhibitory effects of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in the brain, reducing neuronal excitability and promoting relaxation. Escitalopram increases the level of serotonin in the brain, a neurotransmitter believed to play a significant role in mood regulation and anxiety.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication as per your pharmacist's instructions.

Dosage will typically start low and increase gradually as tolerated.

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor immediately. Clonazepam and escitalopram may pose risks to the developing fetus or nursing infant.



Children

Generally not recommended for children unless under strict medical supervision in very specific circumstances.



Kidney

Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with kidney impairment.
