Aspirin

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) with antiplatelet properties.

Clopidogrel

An antiplatelet medication that works differently than aspirin.

Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke) in patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, or cerebrovascular disease.

Following acute coronary syndrome (heart attack) or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), reducing thromboxane A2 production and platelet aggregation. Clopidogrel inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its receptor on platelets, further reducing platelet aggregation. The combination provides enhanced antiplatelet effect.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Allergic reactions (rare)

Alcohol Consumption

Excessive alcohol consumption can increase the risk of bleeding. Moderate alcohol use should be discussed with your physician.



While Driving or operating Machinery

May cause dizziness or drowsiness in some individuals; caution is advised.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant.



Children

Generally not recommended for children.



Kidney

May require dosage adjustment in patients with kidney impairment.



Liver

May require dosage adjustment in patients with liver impairment.
