Indomethacin

Rheumatoid arthritis

Tendinitis

Painful menstrual periods (dysmenorrhea)

Severe pain after surgery

Pain from dental procedures

Donica Tab (Indomethacin) works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Store Indomethacin at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.

The dosage of Indomethacin will vary depending on the condition being treated and the patient's individual needs.

It is typically taken by mouth with a full glass of water.

Your doctor will determine the best dosage and frequency for you.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and not take more or less medication than prescribed.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or operating Machinery

Indomethacin may cause dizziness and drowsiness. It is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Indomethacin should not be taken during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, as it can harm the developing fetus. It is also not recommended for breastfeeding women as it can pass into breast milk.



Children

Indomethacin is not typically recommended for children, unless under the strict guidance of a pediatrician.



Kidney

Patients with kidney problems should use Indomethacin with caution as it can worsen kidney function.



Liver

Indomethacin can also affect liver function, especially in patients with pre-existing liver disease. Liver function tests may be required during treatment.
