Domperidone

A prokinetic agent that helps improve gastric motility (movement of food through the digestive tract). it primarily affects the upper gastrointestinal tract.

Paracetamol

Relief of symptoms associated with gastrointestinal motility disorders, such as nausea and vomiting, potentially worsened by pain (Domperidone and potentially Caffeine's stimulant effect).

Paracetamol reduces fever and pain through central mechanisms not fully understood but possibly involving inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes in the central nervous system. Domperidone increases gastric emptying and intestinal motility by blocking dopamine D2 receptors in the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and gut. Caffeine's mechanism in this context is primarily to enhance alertness and potentially synergistically counteract fatigue or sluggishness associated with pain or gastrointestinal upset.
