Distoside 600mg Tab (Praziquantel) works by increasing the permeability of the cell membranes of parasitic worms, leading to paralysis and death of the parasites. It disrupts the worm's calcium homeostasis, resulting in muscle paralysis and expulsion from the body.

Store praziquantel tablets at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use praziquantel after the expiration date printed on the bottle.

The dosage of praziquantel is determined by the type of parasitic infection being treated, the patient's age, weight, and overall health.

Praziquantel is typically taken as a single dose or over a few days.

It is usually taken by mouth with a meal.
