Is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic.
Treatment of bacterial infections of the middle ear (otitis media), sinuses (sinusitis), tonsils and throat (pharyngitis/tonsillitis), and lower respiratory tract (bronchitis, pneumonia) caused by susceptible bacteria.
Treatment of skin and skin structure infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Distaclor Cd 750 Tab (Cefaclor) works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, leading to bacterial cell death. It is bactericidal (kills bacteria). Its effectiveness varies depending on the specific bacteria involved.
Store at room temperature (20-25°C). Protect from light and moisture. Discard any unused medication after the expiration date.
Dosage is determined by the doctor based on the patient's age, weight, and the severity of the infection.
Cefaclor is usually administered orally, typically every 8 hours.
Follow your doctor's instructions carefully. Do not stop taking the medication prematurely, even if you feel better.
Complete the entire course of treatment as prescribed.

Consult your doctor before taking Cefaclor during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It may cross the placental barrier and be present in breast milk.
Dosage is adjusted based on child's weight and age; always follow doctor’s guidelines.
Patients with kidney problems may require dose adjustments or close monitoring. Cefaclor is primarily excreted via the kidneys.
