Desolon 20mg Tab (Ethinyl Estradiol + Desogestrel) work by preventing ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovary). They also thicken the cervical mucus, making it harder for sperm to reach the egg. These combined actions effectively prevent pregnancy.
Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Take one tablet daily, at approximately the same time each day.
Start taking the pills on the first day of your menstrual cycle.
Continue taking the pills for 21 days, then take a 7-day break during which you will have your period.
After the 7-day break, start a new pack of pills, even if you are still bleeding.

This medication is not safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and contact your doctor.
