Desonide

Is a topical corticosteroid medication.

Treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as:

Atopic dermatitis (eczema)

Psoriasis

Contact dermatitis

Seborrheic dermatitis

Lichen planus

Discoid lupus erythematosus

Allergic reactions

Desoadd Lotion 30ml (Desonide) works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system in the skin. It does this by binding to specific receptors in the skin cells, leading to the production of anti-inflammatory proteins.

Store desonide at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

Apply a thin layer of desonide to the affected area of skin as directed by your doctor.

The frequency of application will vary depending on the severity of your condition.

Do not apply to open wounds, infected areas, or mucous membranes.

Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.

Hair growth

Skin discoloration

Burning, itching, or irritation

Dryness

Folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles)

Alcohol Consumption

No specific warnings about alcohol consumption with desonide, but it is generally advisable to avoid excessive alcohol intake.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Desonide is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience any side effects that might impair your ability to perform these tasks, refrain from doing so.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Desonide should only be used during pregnancy if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Desonide can be used in children, but it should be used with caution under the guidance of a doctor.



Kidney

Desonide is not known to cause significant problems in patients with kidney disease.



Liver

Desonide is not known to cause significant problems in patients with liver disease.
