Desloratadine

Desloratadine is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a non-sedating antihistamine.

Relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and watery eyes.

Relief of symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives), such as itching and welts.

Desalert 10mg Tab (Desloratadine) works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance that is released by the body during an allergic reaction. This helps to reduce the symptoms of allergies.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Protect from light and moisture.

The usual adult dose is one tablet (5 mg) once daily.

For children 6 years and older, the usual dose is one tablet (5 mg) once daily.

Dosage may be adjusted by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to the medication.

Desloratadine can cause drowsiness, so be cautious when driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking desloratadine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.



Kidney

Liver
