Clotrimazole

Is the active ingredient in this medication.

Treatment of fungal infections (mycoses) of the skin, including athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), and yeast infections (candidiasis) of the skin and mucous membranes.

Treatment of vaginal candidiasis (yeast infection).

Dermacan 2%30ml Lotion (Clotrimazole) is an antifungal medication that works by interfering with the growth of fungi. It disrupts the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disruption leads to the death of the fungus.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage and frequency of application will vary depending on the type and severity of the infection, and the specific formulation of clotrimazole used.

Always follow the instructions provided by your healthcare professional.

Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected area, usually 1-2 times a day.

For vaginal candidiasis, a single dose of clotrimazole cream or tablet is typically sufficient.

Burning, stinging, or irritation at the application site.

Redness, dryness, or scaling of the skin.

Rarely, allergic reactions can occur, such as rash, hives, or swelling.

No known impairment of mental alertness or motor skills.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
