Both Deriphyllin Syp 200ml (Etofylline + Theophylline) are methylxanthines. They work by relaxing the smooth muscles in the airways, thereby widening the airways and improving airflow to the lungs. This effect is achieved by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, leading to increased intracellular cAMP levels.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any medication past its expiration date.
Dosage is determined by a physician based on individual factors including age, weight, and disease severity.
Medication may be administered orally (tablets, capsules, liquid) or intravenously (in hospital settings).
