Clobetasol Propionate

A potent topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching.

Clotrimazole

An antifungal medication that treats fungal infections like athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm.

Gentamicin

An antibiotic that fights bacterial infections.

Example conditions: Atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, nummular eczema, lichen planus, and fungal infections like tinea corporis and tinea cruris.

Treatment of inflammatory and pruritic dermatoses (skin conditions) responsive to topical corticosteroids.

Treatment of dermatoses complicated by secondary bacterial and/or fungal infections.

This medication works by combining the actions of its ingredients. Clobetasol propionate suppresses inflammation by reducing the release of inflammatory mediators. Clotrimazole eliminates fungal infections by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes. Gentamicin fights bacterial infections by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline acts as an anti-inflammatory and antifungal agent, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the medication.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and light. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Apply a thin layer of medication to the affected area twice daily.

Avoid applying to the eyes, nose, mouth, or open wounds.

Duration of treatment: Use as directed by your doctor or as specified on the label. Do not use this medication for longer than recommended without consulting your healthcare provider.

Burning, itching, or stinging at the application site.

Skin thinning, stretch marks, or acne-like eruptions.

Infections (bacterial or fungal) may worsen due to suppression of the immune system.

Rare but serious side effects can occur, including: adrenal suppression (with prolonged or extensive use), systemic absorption, and allergic reactions.

Increased skin sensitivity to sunlight.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption as it can interact with the medication and increase the risk of side effects.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience dizziness or any side effects that may affect your alertness, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Consult your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless absolutely necessary and only under the guidance of your healthcare provider.



Children

Use with caution in children. The doctor will determine the appropriate dosage and duration of treatment.



Kidney

This medication may not be suitable for patients with kidney problems. Your doctor will assess your kidney function and advise you accordingly.



Liver

This medication may not be suitable for patients with liver problems. Your doctor will assess your liver function and advise you accordingly.
