Daunorubicin is the active ingredient in this medication.It is an anthracycline antibiotic, a type of chemotherapy drug.

Daunocin 20mg Injection (Daunorubicin) works by interfering with the growth and replication of cancer cells. It does this by binding to DNA and preventing the production of essential proteins needed for cell division.

Store Daunorubicin at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Dispose of expired or unused medication as instructed by your pharmacist.

The dosage of Daunorubicin will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and the type of cancer you have.

It is typically administered intravenously (into a vein) over a period of time.
