Danogen 100mg Cap (Danazol) is a synthetic steroid with weak androgenic and progestational effects. It works by suppressing the release of gonadotropins (hormones that stimulate the ovaries), thus reducing the production of estrogen and inhibiting the growth of endometrial tissue in endometriosis. Its effect on fibrocystic breast disease is less well understood but may involve hormonal modulation.
