Dabby 40mg Tablet (Gliclazide) works by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas. Insulin is a hormone that helps your body use glucose (sugar) for energy. By increasing insulin production, gliclazide helps lower blood sugar levels.
Store gliclazide at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
The dosage of gliclazide is determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
It is typically taken once daily with breakfast, but your doctor may adjust the dosage or timing based on your blood sugar levels.
Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets.
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Common side effect that can cause symptoms like sweating, trembling, dizziness, headache, confusion, and weakness.
