Diclofenac

A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (nsaid) that works by reducing hormones that cause pain and swelling.

Rabeprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (ppi) that decreases the amount of acid produced in the stomach.

Relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Treatment of dyspepsia (indigestion) and heartburn.

Prevention of gastric ulcers caused by NSAIDs.

Diclofenac blocks the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. Rabeprazole reduces stomach acid production by blocking the enzyme that produces it, helping to protect the stomach lining.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from light and moisture.

Dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs.

Typically taken once or twice daily with a meal.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Do not crush or break the tablet.

Common: Headache, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain.

Less common: Stomach bleeding, ulcers, heartburn, rash, itching.

Serious: Liver damage, kidney problems, heart attack, stroke.

Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol can increase the risk of stomach bleeding and liver damage.



While Driving or operating Machinery

Diclofenac can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Diclofenac and rabeprazole should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor for advice.



Children

Not recommended for children.



Kidney

People with kidney problems may need to adjust their dosage.



Liver

People with liver problems should use this medication with caution.
