About Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab
Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab (Gliclazide + Sitagliptin) is a combination medication used to treat type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing insulin production and improving insulin sensitivity. Common side effects include hypoglycemia and gastrointestinal upset. This medication should be taken as prescribed by your doctor, and you should inform them of any other medications you are taking. Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is essential.
Ingredients of Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab

    Gliclazide

A sulfonylurea oral antidiabetic drug that stimulates insulin release from the pancreas.

    Sitagliptin

A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (dpp-4) inhibitor that enhances the body's own incretin hormones, leading to increased insulin release and decreased glucagon secretion.

Direction for Use of Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab

Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially when metformin is not tolerated or is contraindicated, or when metformin and lifestyle modifications are insufficient to achieve adequate glycemic control.

Used as addon therapy to metformin when target blood glucose levels are not reached.

How Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab Works

Gliclazide stimulates insulin release from the beta-cells of the pancreas in a glucose-dependent manner. Sitagliptin increases the levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), which amplify glucose-stimulated insulin secretion and suppress glucagon secretion, leading to improved glycemic control.

Storage and Handling of Cyblex S 60 Xr Tab

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.

Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on individual needs and response.
