An angiotensin ii receptor blocker (arb) that helps relax blood vessels.
A thiazide diuretic that increases urine production to lower blood pressure.
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), often in patients who haven't responded adequately to other medications.
May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs.
Telmisartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows blood vessels. Chlorthalidone increases the excretion of sodium and water from the body, reducing blood volume and pressure. The combined effect leads to a more significant reduction in blood pressure than either drug alone.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Discard any unused medication after the expiry date.
Dosage should be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and response to treatment.
The medication is typically taken once daily, with or without food.
Do not stop taking this medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.

Allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling)
Alcohol can increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness. Limit alcohol consumption while taking this medication.
May cause dizziness or lightheadedness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Not recommended during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Safety and efficacy in children have not been established.
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease; may need dosage adjustment.
