Chlortalidone

Metoprolol

Chlortalidone works by increasing urine production, which helps reduce blood volume and lower blood pressure. Metoprolol blocks the effects of adrenaline on the heart, slowing the heart rate and reducing blood pressure.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

The dosage of chlortalidone and metoprolol will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and medical history.

Take the medication as prescribed, at the same time each day, with or without food.

Do not skip doses or stop taking the medication without talking to your doctor.

Alcohol Consumption

While Driving or Operating Machinery

Chlortalidone and metoprolol can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Talk to your doctor before taking chlortalidone and metoprolol if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. These medications may pass into breast milk and could harm your baby.



Children

This medication is not typically prescribed for children.



Kidney

Your doctor may adjust your dose if you have kidney problems.



Liver
