Cpz 50mg Tab (Chlorpromazine) is a phenothiazine antipsychotic that works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain. This action helps to reduce the symptoms of psychosis, such as hallucinations and delusions. It also has sedative and anti-anxiety effects.

Store chlorpromazine at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of chlorpromazine will vary depending on the individual's condition and response to treatment.

It is typically taken by mouth, but can also be given intravenously or intramuscularly in some cases.

While Driving or Operating Machinery

Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

Chlorpromazine can harm an unborn baby. It is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. It can also pass into breast milk and may harm a breastfeeding baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of using this medication while pregnant or breastfeeding.



Children

Chlorpromazine is not generally recommended for use in children under 16 years of age.
