Indapamide

Is a thiazide diuretic that helps your body get rid of excess water and salt.

Perindopril

Is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ace) inhibitor that helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.

High blood pressure (hypertension)

To reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and a history of stroke or ministroke.

Indapamide works by increasing urine output, which reduces the amount of fluid in your blood vessels and lowers blood pressure. Perindopril works by blocking the production of a substance that narrows blood vessels, which also lowers blood pressure.

Store the medication at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage will vary depending on your individual needs and medical history.

Take the medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Do not stop taking the medication without consulting your doctor.

It is usually taken once daily, with or without food.

Kidney problems

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication, as it can increase the risk of low blood pressure and dizziness.



While Driving or Operating Machinery

This medication can cause dizziness, so be cautious when driving or operating machinery.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women

This medication is not recommended for pregnant women. It is also not recommended for breastfeeding women because it may pass into breast milk and harm the baby.



Children

This medication is not recommended for children.



Kidney

This medication should be used with caution in people with kidney problems.



Liver

This medication should be used with caution in people with liver problems.
