An ace inhibitor (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor) that lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the work of the heart.
Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)
May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive medications
Indapamide increases sodium and water excretion, reducing blood volume. Perindopril inhibits the angiotensin-converting enzyme, preventing the formation of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor. This combined action leads to a significant reduction in blood pressure.
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional and will vary depending on individual needs and response to treatment.
Typically taken once daily, usually in the morning, with or without food.
Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor.
