A calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.
An ace inhibitor that prevents the production of substances that narrow blood vessels, also lowering blood pressure.
Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure)
Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with hypertension and other risk factors such as established cardiovascular disease.
Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels directly, while perindopril erbumine indirectly lowers blood pressure by inhibiting the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), reducing vasoconstriction and fluid retention.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Dosage should be determined by a physician based on individual needs and response.
Typically taken once daily, usually in the morning.
Do not stop taking the medication abruptly without consulting your doctor.
Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not crush or chew.
Dry cough (more common with ACE inhibitors)
Rare but serious: angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat), low blood pressure, kidney problems.

Swelling in ankles, feet, or legs
Alcohol may enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of the medication and increase the risk of side effects. Limit or avoid alcohol consumption.
May cause dizziness or fatigue. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how this medication affects you.
Generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your doctor immediately if you become pregnant or plan to breastfeed while taking this medication.
Not recommended for use in children unless specifically prescribed by a pediatrician.
Use with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dosage may need to be adjusted.
