Chlorpheniramine Maleate

Sodium Citrate

A buffering agent that helps to reduce stomach upset and enhance the absorption of other ingredients.

Temporary relief of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes (Note: this is not a primary treatment for allergies).

Relief of symptoms associated with the common cold or flu, such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, headache, and fever.

Chlorpheniramine blocks histamine receptors, reducing allergy symptoms. Phenylephrine constricts blood vessels in the nose, relieving congestion. Paracetamol reduces fever and pain through central nervous system action. The exact mechanism of paracetamol's action is not fully understood but is thought to involve inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes.
