Clarithromycin

Is a macrolide antibiotic.

Treatment of bacterial infections, including:

Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)

Skin and soft tissue infections

Ear infections

Stomach ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria

Certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs)

Cloff 250mg Syp 30ml (Clarithromycin) works by stopping the growth of bacteria by interfering with their protein synthesis.

Store clarithromycin at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it in its original container, tightly closed.

The dosage of clarithromycin varies depending on the type of infection being treated and the patient's age and health.

It is usually taken twice daily with food.

The medication can be taken in tablet, capsule, or liquid form.

Children

Clarithromycin can build up in the body if you have kidney problems. Your doctor may need to adjust your dose.



Liver
