Clinscar Plus Soap 75gm (Clindamycin + Salicylic Acid) works by combining the antibacterial effects of clindamycin with the keratolytic action of salicylic acid. This combination helps to reduce the number of bacteria on the skin and unclog pores, which can help to prevent acne breakouts.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the medication in its original container and tightly closed. Keep this medication and all medicines out of reach of children.
Apply a thin layer of medication to the affected areas twice a day.
Wash hands thoroughly before and after applying the medication.
Do not use more medication than directed by your doctor.
Do not use this medication on open wounds or broken skin.
Mild skin irritation, dryness, or redness.
Burning or stinging sensation.
Increased sensitivity to sunlight.
Rarely, allergic reactions.
No known interactions with alcohol.
This medication is unlikely to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
Talk to your doctor before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is not known if clindamycin + salicylic acid is safe for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
This medication is not recommended for use in children under the age of 12.
