Clobazam

Clobazam is the active ingredient in the medication.It belongs to a class of drugs called benzodiazepines.Benzodiazepines work by enhancing the effects of a natural chemical in the brain called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid).

Clobazam is used to treat seizures in people with epilepsy.

It can also be used to treat anxiety disorders.

In some cases, it may be prescribed for muscle spasms or insomnia.
