Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure.

Chlorthalidone is a thiazide diuretic that helps your body remove excess salt and water, also lowering blood pressure.

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, especially those with mild to moderate hypertension.

Cilnidipine blocks calcium channels in the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, leading to relaxation and dilation of the vessels. This reduces resistance to blood flow and lowers blood pressure. Chlorthalidone increases urine production by blocking the reabsorption of sodium and water in the kidneys, further lowering blood pressure.

Store the medication in a cool, dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The dosage of Cilnidipine + Chlorthalidone will be determined by your doctor based on your individual needs and health condition.

It is typically taken once daily, usually in the morning, with or without food.

Do not crush or break the tablets. Swallow them whole with a glass of water.

Serious side effects, although rare, can include low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, and allergic reactions.

Common side effects include dizziness, headache, fatigue, weakness, and leg swelling.

Less common side effects can include nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, and increased urination.

Alcohol Consumption

Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication as it may worsen side effects like dizziness.

This medication may cause dizziness, drowsiness, or lightheadedness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.



Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
